42/365 - Studio Pet

Photo

This little guy (or girl...how do you tell?) made it's way into the studio tonight to escape the downpour outside. S/he let me get very close with my iPhone but I still had to rescue the blowout highlights in Photogene and then ran it through TiltShift Generator to help being a bit of attention to our new studio pet...

32/365 - Something Different

Photo

We shipped one of our vehicles to Maui today. Somewhat ironic that it will live full-time on Maui before we do... I took an iPhone photo of one of the shipping containers with the intention of using it for today's 365. But I was so bored with the image that I threw it into Percolator, then Iris Photo Suite, then iDroste, and finally TiltShift Generator. I'm not sure what the result is, but it's lots more fun than just the original photo of the container.

31/365 - Peek-a-boo Sun

End of the first month of my first 365. I've gotten farther than I thought I would on my first 365 but I've also started to get a bit bored... It's been easy and relatively fun working within the confines of my self-imposed rules of only shooting with an iPhone, only editing with an iPhone or iPad, and only uploading/posting via iPhone or iPad. It's just that I don't have time to explore the subject matter that I find interesting. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about being able to shoot iPhone photos on some of the most beautiful beaches in the world (Lanikai and Kailua). I'd just like to have the time to do more "Digital Mashups" like I did earlier in the series. There's 11 months left. Still looking forward to seeing what happens during this project.

29/365 - Shelter

Photo

Someone leaned these pieces of driftwood up against each other and formed a "tee pee" about 4 feet high and 3 feet in diameter on Lanikai Beach. I stuck my iPhone into the enter of the "structure", pointed it at the sky, and snapped a single pic. This is the result. Plus a quick default trip through TiltShift Generator to add some interest with the blur and vignetting.
