96/365 - Dancing on Planet Haleakala@RoxanneDarling and I make an early morning stop on Planet Haleakala (Haleakala Crater on Maui). 95/365 - Sunrise on Planet HaleakalaSunrise over Planet Haleakala (Haleakala Crater on Maui). 89/365 - Maui MeGuest photographer for today's 365 is @RoxanneDarling with this shot she took of me on a recent hop to Maui. 86/365 - Leaving MauiAlways a tinge of melancholy when leaving Maui. This photo I took of my reflection in the Hawaiian Airline' window as we taxied. And, thus is the first 365 I've posted while still on the plane. 45/365 - Aloha MauiBack to Oahu today. See you in a few weeks, Maui! 44/365 - Maui Open StudioWe're thrilled, energized, surprised, and exhausted after this past weekend's Maui Open Studio event ( http://rsr.me/mauiopen ). We met so many amazing, talented, and very cool artists and art lovers this past week and feel blessed to have made many new friends. More than I ever would have imagined. We had more traffic to the studio than I thought possible and Roxanne made more sales than I ever could have hoped for... Our Twitter friends showed up Saturday afternoon and we even had beautiful live music courtesy of Joel Katz ( http://joelkatzmaui.com ). The magic of Maui continues to welcome us and make us feel at home and welcomed. 37/365 - GuardiansThese four ceramic statues (the fourth is hidden at the far end), each about 3 feet tall, greet you at one of the entrances to just one of the many warehouses of "Endangered Pieces" used and imported furniture upcountry in Pukalani, Maui. It's an amazing place filled with lots of treasure, and some not-so-great pieces. http://www.omsweetom.net |
