Rinse. Repeat.@RoxanneDarling treats our Lexi to an Aloha Friday shampoo and shower after our walk and swim on the beach this morning. 55/365 - Dog NapWhy are cats so famous for napping? Our Lexi can out-nap any cat I've ever known... 51/365 - Lexi' Golden SunriseTook this a few weeks ago on one of our morning walks on Lanikai Beach. Straight from the iPhone except for a small crop in Photogene. 26/365 - Shower WatcherI took several photos at Lanikai beach this morning during Lexi and my walk/swim but I just wasn't excited about any of them as i went thru them tonight. So, I went thru my iPad photo albums to see if anything caught my interest. We have an outdoor shower off our master bathroom (it's our main shower) and this was taken from outside on a very sunny day. On sunny days the glass door acts like a mirror and my reflection in the door mixed with Lexi as she was standing inside, peering out at me after I finished my shower. The high contrast effect was achieved with the "Plastic Bullet" app on my iPad.19/365 - Lexi's CatchBusy day. So just a iPhone photo of Lexi on Kailua Beach this gorgeous morning. 14/365 - A Clean Bill of HealthWe've been concerned about a lump on Lexi's side and took her to Feather & Fur today to have it checked out. Turns out it's just a fatty deposit between layers of muscle. She'll have it for the rest of her life but it doesn't cause her any pain and isn't a problem unless it gets bigger. One of the vet assistants was surprised when he saw her chart and read she's 10 years old. He had guessed she was around 3 years old. Me thinks she looks, and acts, so good for her age is the quality food and great swimming exercise she gets almost everyday with Mommy in the beautiful clear Hawaiian waters. The photo above was taken right after we left the vet. Lexi was in top form and it was a gorgeous Aloha Friday! |
